I threw a really simple Greasemonkey script together today that nukes the “target” field from links. I use Firefox, and hate sites that control where links I click on end up. If I middle-click, I want the page to open in a new tab; if I left-click I’m done looking at the current page and want the new one to show up here.

Instead of that happening, a left-clicker ends up spawning a new window. *grr*

Now I know I can setup Firefox to open up new windows in a fresh tab instead of spawning that popup, but that’s now how I want my internet to work.
